I chose the Blog as a web 2.0 tool because it is an easy way for me to share information with thousands of readers about the main problem mentioned in my previous activity of Unit 1. You can look at the following 6 step planning process on problem solving here:

To begin with, it is important to write an interesting title that catches people's attention and visitors to  encourage them to read the content. Secondly, you can add photos, videos  and links to other important websites to make the blog's presentation more striking, interesting and less boring. 

The main problem consist of “Discrimination against disabled students in Colombian schools”, which affects many people and  institutions nationally and internationally, although in some countries this issue is taken more into consideration. Those that live and suffer discrimination are the ones directly involved, as well as their family members and love ones.  Taking this into consideration, it is important and necessary that a large majority of us regain conscience of  the situation and try in one way or another to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of these disable people.  They may be disable in some areas, but they are quite able to perform others activities like learning anything they set their minds to. In the Colombian community and mentality a discriminating mindset has existed for centuries against others who from different races or skin color. Today, discrimination exists against those who have some kind of physical disability.

Today we can make use of this 2.0 Web Tool to create two blogs, one blog can could be used for communication between the school director and the administrative and teaching staff to facilitate communication and the execution of plans done to accomplish a common goal. Even though, in my previous work, I failed to identify with accuracy the solution to help solve the problem that my hypothetical school is facing right now, like providing funds to create awareness campaigns, sign in petitions and providing financial means for the human and physical resources needed and mentioned in my previous work to make my school ready to face the new challenge of inclusive education. Therefore, the main advantage of a blog with an appealing design, some marketing skills and tools,  is to help inform Colombia and the world about the current discriminating practices that have been present in Colombia or my local region for centuries. Therefore, it is a perfect tool to raise awareness to the general public, in which ever language you want to use do accomplish this, collect signatures from different parts of the world to motivate change in other organizations or governments to approve funding for all the things mentioned in my previous work, and help my school to be able to provide for the needs mentioned in the previous work, as well as collecting funds by requesting donations by using a PayPal or or Credit Card bottom, either in Colombian pesos or in other currencies, depending on the visitors willing to contribute for this cause.

Links to PayPal.com accounts or any other money transfer services like Xoom.com can facilitate the gathering of funds, and links like www.avaaz.com can redirect visitors to sign in or vote in favor of a well drafted petition, concerning my school discrimination problem, as long as the problem is very well explained and what type of plan is going to be executed, so people can understand why they are voting in favor of a cause, and how they can help. Also, if the main solution to the problem is to gather funds, I could also allow my blogs to become marketing spaces by allowing "Google"  to pay me passively for allowing "Google Ads" being promoted in my blog.

Disabled students around the world can share their experiences and support to disable students in Colombia, by writing their testimonies and comments in the public Blog, or sharing this blog with other friends and contacts.  

The way in which how a blog is used can turn out to be a very important and influential tool  to motivate and execute change. Different blogs can be created for different purposes, one for school staff communication and updates, and other blogs for the general public, or specific type of audiences,as long as they are well marketed in the search engines for visitors to find them easier, and well design to get's visitor's attention.
